Going2China
Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-08-24
Going2China is an editorial site that also takes bespoke travel enquiries. We collect only what we need to reply to you. We run no advertising and never sell personal information to third parties.
What we collect
Enquiry form: your name, email, phone (optional), country or region, travel dates, party size, budget range, accommodation preference, destinations of interest and any notes you write. You fill these in yourself, and most of them can be left blank.
Your saved list: places you collect with “Add to Plan” live only in your own browser's localStorage. They are never uploaded to our servers, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Language preference: a single cookie named going2china_lang, recording the interface language you picked. Nothing else.
Anonymous traffic statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does no cross-site tracking. It reports aggregate figures such as page views and referrers.
How we use it
Form submissions are used for one purpose: so a travel planner can answer your enquiry and draft or revise an itinerary for you.
We do not use them for promotional mail unrelated to your enquiry, nor for advertising of any kind.
Storage and sharing
Submissions reach our editorial inbox (2089543767@qq.com) by email and are kept there and in the trip file.
We share only what is needed to make your trip happen — for example a name and dates when confirming a hotel, boat or local guide. Nothing beyond that goes to third parties.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare; access logs are handled by Cloudflare under its own policy.
Your choices
Write to 2089543767@qq.com to see, correct or delete anything you have submitted. We will act on it and reply once we receive your message.
You can read everything on this site without ever filling in a form.
Children
This site is intended for adult travellers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page, and note anything substantial here.
